Cambridge Carbon Footprint’s AGM

We love our AGM. That might sound unusual, but our AGM’s might just be a bit unusual. They are feel good affairs, bringing together the CCF community to celebrate our successes, discuss our challenges, and explore opportunities for the future. Everyone is invited.

This year we’re delighted that Brian Eversham, Chief Executive of the The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire will be giving his very popular talk ‘Climate Change and Local Wildlife’. Given our climate is already changing, Brian’s talk is timely and important. Will our native species be able to adapt? How can we increase their chances of survival? Will there be any gains?

Following Brian’s talk we’ll review our 2016 events and activities, present our accounts and conduct our formal AGM business.* As always there’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and time to catch up with staff, volunteers, trustees and other supporters over a cup of tea and a bit of cake. We’d love to see you there. No booking required.

*Anyone is welcome to become a Company Member which gives you voting rights at our AGM, for example Company Members are able to vote on the election of Trustees. You can apply to be a member application form if you share CCF’s aims and general approach, take a keen interest in CCF and want to contribute to its success and normally attend AGMs (at which you can vote). If you are interested in becoming a member just email your completed application form to tom@cambridgecarbonfootprint.org. It’s not necessary to become a member to attend the AGM or be actively involved with CCF.
