Cambridge Repair Cafe at Kettle's Yard Gallery (electronic and electricals only)

Inspired by Hannah Kemp-Welch’s Open House residency, the Kettle’s Yard team have invited Cambridge Repair Café to run a Repair Cafe in this beautiful space. Hannah’s practice is in new media arts, working primarily with sound. She is keen to share her enthusiasm for sound art, and spark people’s interest in listening to the world around us. At the Cafe we are especially keen to fix any electrical or electronic items linked to sound so radios, speakers, record players and laptops but we’ll see all items including household appliances, printers, electronic toys etc.

Repair Cafés match people with broken items with the people that can fix them. You can turn up with your item on the day but it is best to book. You can do so by emailing cambridgerepaircafe@gmail.com. Please tell us what the item is and the problem with it. The repairers are experienced and can fix most things but there are no guarantees.

All repairs are free, though donations are welcome and entrance to Kettle’s Yard is free too.

The Repair Café at Kettle’s Yard is currently fully booked. We are unable to take any further advance bookings or drop-ins on the day. To see all upcoming Cambridge Repair Café events please on our events page.
