The Amey Education team have linked up once again with Denny Abbey historic farm to provide a number of FREE family fun activity days over the school summer holidays.
The education team will help you create a whole host of objects and models made from nothing more than WASTE! Swords, bird feeders and insects are just some of the things you will have a chance to make. Plus there will be a site tour for everyone to see first hand what happens to your waste and how it is sorted or recycling. It is also possible that our real life bird-scarer, a Harris hawk and his handler will put in an appearance to show how these magnificent birds of prey help Amey keep the seagulls at bay on the landfill!
The family activity sessions will run from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 4 pm on 27th and 28th July and 4th and 18th August. Booking is essential since places are limited and children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by an adult.
To book your FREE places telephone 01223 815490 or email wasteeducation@amey.co.uk
