The CirculART Trail 2016 showcased the work of over 20 local artists and makers who have displayed their pieces made from re-purposed materials in the windows of twenty-one of Cambridge’s finest charity shops. For one month, from June 8th onwards, the public was able to pick up a map from partaking shops (online version) to follow the trail to marvel at the beautiful and wonderous items that can be made by recycling, re-purposing and reclaiming.
CirculART aims to celebrate art and creativity but also highlight the really significant role that our charity shops play in reducing waste. To complement this project an on-line directory of Cambridge’s charity and vintage shops, auction houses, car boots and repair businesses is over here.
