Eversden’s first Repair Cafe!

Items that can be repaired include: bikes, textiles, lampshades, clothes, soft toys, small appliances, small electrical items (no phones or tablets), jewellery, furniture & other wooden items. We’ll also be running a computer clinic – bring your phone, tablet, or computer and we’ll help you with your IT issues.

Repairs are free but we ask you to book a place in advance and to tell us a little about what you’ll be bringing. You can book an item in via this link: Repair Cafe booking form. This is to make sure we have a repairer available to assess your item and any parts that are needed for the repair. We can supply minor spares on the day (like fuses) but if you know the item needs a distinct part, then please bring that with you. If there’s a lot of interest in the event, you may have to wait a bit – booking is best but you can drop in too.

Come before your repair slot and join us for tea, coffee, delicious cake and a chat.

All welcome, a free event but donations welcome. Any donations will go towards the maintenance of the village hall.
